Seattle adventures, life, home, and coffee—in no particular order

Las Ninãs Amor

I’ve been blessed with some amazingly talented and creative friends. The kind you aaaalmost want to hate for said talent and creativity, but just can’t help but love.

It’s no secret that I’ve been obsessed with all things wedding lately—including paper-related goodness—so, in the spirit of design, style, femininity, and lovely printables, let’s talk stationary.

Introducing the girls

It’s not unusual to receive a delightfully personalized, handmade card from Crystal Martinez, so it wasn’t a real surprise when she announced her latest ambition: Las Ninas Stationary.

Crystal, my college roommate and (one of) my favorite residents of the Windy City, is the queen of style. Whether it’s fashion, restaurants, or celebrities, Crystal has her finger on the pulse of today’s latest and greatest trends. Combine that with her creative streak, business savvy, and spicy Latina inspirations and you’ve got a recipe for inspired, smart, and fun designs.

Along with her gorgeous sister Julia, Crystal’s passion for creativity and thoughtful touches gave birth to their stationary endeavor, Las Ninãs. They started small, making cards for friends and loved ones, and eventually established their presence in the online world.

Juntos celebramos

The co-founding sisters, who both love a good celebration, want to be part of your celebration! They believe that special occasions should be celebrated with special stationary. In their own words: “Our customized, unique, hand-crafted cards make your occasion a memorable and happy one.”

Las ninãs, or the girls for you gringas, specialize in Spanish and English birthday, wedding, anniversary, graduation, thank you, and holiday cards, just to name a few.

No habla español? No problemo. These fine ladies can do it all, but they aim to please both the English and Spanish speaking worlds.

Just a taste

I recently opened my mailbox to find a colorful feliz cumpleaños invitation created with a piece of one-of-a-kind handmade paper from Mexico. It’s definitely one of my favorites so far:

I also love these scripted name cards, perfect for any celebration’s dinner seating:

And, because I’m a book nerdess at heart, of course I adore this love-inspired bookmark:

Craving more? Here’s the appetizer sampler from their website:

What are you waiting for?

Seriously, isn’t it time to get your hands on some hand-crafted goodness?

Check out their website: http://www.lasninasstationary.com/. Once you learn more about the company and browse recent designs, you can contact Crystal and Julia through their website.

Even better, become their friend on Facebook.

Then do yourself a favor, and make Las Ninas Stationary a part of your next celebration! Orale!

Good work, ladies. And keep the gorgeous designs coming!

Stephanie, this is nicely written article about Las Ninas and the creativity that Crystal and her sister, Julia, have.

Crystal, I love your collection and can’t wait to see more in the near future. You’re doing a great job putting this business together and before you know it, you will be working on a long list of orders.
